Didcot First compiles a monthly listing of positive community events that are happening in the town and surrounding area. We aim to distribute this listing as widely as possible, making use of public notice boards, staff notice boards and email circulation.

Didcot First will be organising some events of our own in the next few months:

Saturday 12th July – a Volunteer Day in association with Didcot Scouts
a chance for organisations to attract volunteers and for potential volunteers to find organisations that can use your skills and experiences. Free, fun activities to try, passionate people to chat to and a wonderful world of volunteering opening up to you.

Saturday 20th September – a Street Olympix in the Orchard Centre. After the success of our 2007 Street Olympix, we'll be repeating the event this year...

October (date to be confirmed) – a Fairtrade, Organic, Retro/Vintage Fashion Show - challenging everyone to think about all aspects of the clothing industry whilst having a brilliant evening of catwalk fun.
